BGN Services ("BGN," "we," "us," or "our") builds and manages websites, business platforms, CRMs, and sports & school software for our clients. This policy explains what information we collect through our websites and client tools, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to bgnservices.com and the client portals and demo tools we operate under it (including the Step Up Provider Launch application and portal).

Information you provide directly:

• Contact and quote form submissions — name, email, phone number, business/organization name, project details, budget, and timeline.
• Step Up Provider application submissions — business details, program information, and documents you upload for that specific service.
• Client portal accounts — email address (used for secure magic-link sign-in) and any notes or files you add through the portal.

Payment information: When you pay for a service, payment is processed directly by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number — Stripe shares only what's needed to confirm and reconcile your payment (e.g. amount, status, last 4 digits).

Automatically collected information: Our server logs standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security and reliability purposes. We use a session cookie only to keep administrators and portal clients signed in — we do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics trackers on this site.

• Responding to quote requests and inquiries
• Delivering the website, platform, or service you've contracted for
• Processing payments and sending related receipts/confirmations
• Reviewing and processing Step Up Provider applications and supporting documents
• Sending transactional emails (form confirmations, portal notifications, magic sign-in links)
• Maintaining the security and proper functioning of our systems

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

We share information only with the service providers that help us operate our business, and only as needed to provide our services:

• Stripe — payment processing
• SendGrid — delivering transactional emails (confirmations, notifications, sign-in links)
• Our hosting and database infrastructure — storing form submissions, documents, and account data securely

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of BGN Services, our clients, or others.

We retain contact submissions and application data for as long as reasonably needed to provide our services, maintain business records, and meet legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized. We use reasonable technical safeguards — including encrypted connections, hashed credentials, and access-controlled admin systems — to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information appropriately.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent for us to contact you, by emailing support@bgnservices.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law (for example, the California Consumer Privacy Act or the EU/UK GDPR) — we will honor valid requests to the extent required.

Our websites and services are directed at businesses and organizations, not children. Where we build tools for schools or sports organizations, any data about student-athletes or minors is collected and controlled by that organization, not BGN Services, and is subject to their own privacy practices and applicable laws (such as COPPA or FERPA).

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of our sites or services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
